NY Energy Manager

Simplified. Sustainable. Savings.

The NY Energy Manager helps you simplify energy management for your organization – by using the power of data to improve building energy performance, reduce environmental impact, and manage energy costs.

More than a thousand organizations statewide, including all major state facilities, are taking advantage of NY Energy Manager’s advanced platform and services.

NY Energy Manager designs customized energy management strategies for individual facilities or entire building portfolios.  Insights and services are offered and priced based on the level of data collected and advisory services; packages are fully customizable.

Analytics are applied to data collected by NY Energy Manager to enable tools like smart alerts, facility diagnostics and project tracking. This is all accessible on the energy management platform, free to NYPA customers, via web or mobile device.
Installed hardware collects real-time data on heating, ventilation, and air conditioning lighting and environmental conditions. Sensors are used to monitor and collect data about interior building conditions like humidity, temperature, and CO2 levels.
NY Energy Manager runs data analytics and provides reports and recommendations. From prioritizing energy conservation measures to predicting equipment issues, our advisors make energy management simple.

As part of its commitment to customers as a trusted energy advisor, NYPA requires economic development power customers to perform energy efficiency audits at the customer’s facilities.

The virtual audit is conducted within NYPA’s New York Energy Manager (NYEM) platform instead of as an in-person audit of the facility.

When completed, the customer gains access to energy efficiency recommendations within NYEM and an on-demand facility performance report.

Current NYPA customers that wish to sign up for the virtual audit should contact their NYPA Account Executive to learn more.
