Northern New York Power Proceeds Allocation Board to Recommend Economic Development Funding at October 13 Meeting

MASSENA—The Northern New York Power Proceeds Allocation Board is scheduled to meet on Wednesday, October 13, at 4 p.m., via video conference.

The proceeds board is expected to make funding recommendations under the Northern New York Power Proceeds Allocation Act, which become law on December 29, 2014, to apply the net earnings of the market-sale of unutilized hydropower from New York Power Authority’s St. Lawrence-Franklin D. Roosevelt Power Project to support economic development in St. Lawrence County.
