Free Family-Friendly Movies At N.Y. Power Authority Hawkins Point Visitors Center, Tuesdays All Summer

MASSENA — “Beat the Heat Summer Movie Days” are back at the New York Power Authority’s admission-free Frank S. McCullough, Jr. Hawkins Point Visitors Center.

Animated and live-action family-friendly films will be shown in the center’s air-conditioned auditorium every Tuesday, at 10 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m., through August 26.

Admission, parking and popcorn are all free.

Before and after each movie, remember to sample the wide array of hands-on, interactive exhibits on electricity, energy efficiency and the operation of the scenic, nearby St. Lawrence-Franklin D. Roosevelt Power Project.

The visitors center is open daily, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
