Smart Path is a vital transmission infrastructure project that is modernizing and strengthening the 86-mile-long Moses-Adirondack transmission in the North Country between Massena and Croghan.

Smart Path Connect connects to Smart Path to the South and in the North heading East.

Increasing the capacity of transmission lines will cut down on energy bottlenecks that slow the current system and lead to unnecessarily high energy bills for New Yorkers across the state. NYPA has teamed up with LS Power Grid New York to rebuild a 93-mile section of transmission lines from the Mohawk Valley to the Capital Region.
