NYPA is Building Bridges: We empower the ERGs to articulate and highlight the value of employee based contribution to NYPA’s overall strategy. Through partnerships and collaborations, both internal and external, ERGs increase cultural competency, strengthen internal business partnerships, develop subject matter experts and refine professional development. Recognized and established ERG’s are Women in Power, ECO, Veterans, LGBTQ, Generations, and the Multicultural group.

Our Environmental Justice program is designed to improve the quality of life of our low income neighbors in communities where we operate. We do this by providing a portfolio of programs that address the unique needs of these communities. These include: STEM education, mentorships, professional development for teachers, and energy education and weatherization programs for low income homeowners.
