The B-G Halloween Weekend event runs form Friday, October 19 through Sunday October 21.

Get ready for three days of ‘Scho-haire-raising’ Halloween fun including a Haunted History Tour and Zombie run!

  • Friday: Tour the haunted house at night! From 5pm to 8 pm
  • Saturday: Enjoy NYPA's annual Halloween Event at B-G. The Zombie run (5k) is back and will course from Minekill State Park to the B-G Visitors Center. We've also got a hauntingly scary tour of some local landmarks through the Haunted Village, the Costume Parade and contest for children of all ages (with prizes awarded in various categories), plus free pumpkins for all participants, a hayride, Halloween crafts and more. Times for the Zombie run and Costume Parade will be posted soon.
  • Sunday: Hear what messages the spirit world may be sending when a medium visits historic Lansing Manor, offering insights into what life was like here in the 1800’s. Feel the energy in the room and take a tour with the spirits at 3 p.m. or 5 p.m. The event is free, but space is limited and reservations are required. Call 1-800-724-0309 for reservations.

More on Lansing Manor: Built by Revolutionary-era patriot John Ten Eyck Lansing, Lansing Manor is part of the Blenheim-GIlboa Visitors complex and operated by NYPA in cooperation with the Schoharie County Historical Society. Open May 1 through October 31, it is filled with authentic furnishings from the first half of the 19th century. The Visitors Center is located on Route 30, five miles north of Grand Gorge and 17 miles south of Middleburgh. For more information, call 800-724-0309.
