Digital Energy Technology Opportunity | Answer the Call to Unlock the Future of Energy

NYPA, the largest state electric utility in the nation, has issued a call for proposals to the leaders and pioneers of today’s cutting-edge technology. A world-class group of forward-thinking strategists and implementers —the masters and visionaries in app development, data mining, management consulting, technology execution and energy management center training— will be selected to join NYPA’s network of experts as New York leads the nation in developing the first fully digital public utility in the country.

ACCESS:

To access bidding opportunities bidders must first register on our site directory. Registering gives NYPA the ability to communicate with the bidding community directly.

We make every effort to assure that our web site is accessible to persons with disabilities. If you are unable to access our RFQ documents in .pdf format, please e-mail nyparfq@nypa.gov

EVALUATION PROCESS:

Evaluation of proposals is made through a fair and equitable comparison of all proposals submitted in accordance the specifics of the Requests for Quotation (RFQ) as established in Our Guidelines for Procurement Contracts. We do not maintain prequalified bidders lists, and bidders are expected to demonstrate their proven experience within their proposals. We encourage Minority and Women owned (MWBE) and Service Disabled Veteran Owned Businesses (SDVOB) firms to participate in our Supplier Diversity Program. We also encourage such firms to participate in these bidding opportunities.

NYPA has implemented a comprehensive sourcing, contract management and supplier management system through the SAP Ariba platform which will enable electronic bidding. The transition to electronic bidding allows the Authority to manage the bidding process, contracts and relationships with its suppliers more efficiently. The Authority will continue to provide a list of bidding opportunities available to prospective bidders on this website. Instructions for submitting proposals will be clearly marked and provided to ensure successful submission to NYPA.
