N.Y. Power Authority To Hold Public Forums In September On Proposed Hydropower Rates

WHITE PLAINS—The New York Power Authority (NYPA) has scheduled public forums for next month in Syracuse, Lewiston and Massena on its rate adjustment process, which is required by law, on new rates for hydroelectric power supplied to several groups of customers.  

The dates, times and locations of the forums are as follows:

Date:                Monday, Sept. 19
Time:               3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Location:         Syracuse University, Schine Student Center, 303 University Place - Room 228B, Syracuse, N.Y.

Date:                Tuesday, Sept. 20
Time:               3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Location:         Niagara Power Project Power Vista, 5777 Lewiston Rd., Lewiston, N.Y.

Date:                Thursday, Sept. 22
Time:               2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Location:         Frank S. McCullough, Jr. Hawkins Point Visitors Center at St. Lawrence-FDR Power Project , 21 Hawkins Point Rd., Massena, N.Y.
