Opportunity: New York Power Authority to Play Host to Envirothon at
its Niagara Power Project

In celebration of Earth
Day, the New York Power Authority (NYPA) is joining with the Niagara
and Orleans Counties Soil and Water Districts to play host to the
19th annual Niagara-Orleans Regional Envirothon at the Power Vista,
the Niagara Power Project’s admission-free visitors center on
Thursday, May 1.
The event will include
approximately 65 students from area high schools, who will compete
on such subjects as aquatics, forestry, soils, wildlife and this
year’s current issues topic, “Agricultural Land Conservation and
Preservation.”
