Easter Bunny Set to Visit NYPA's Center Contact: March 5, 2008 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE NORTH BLENHEIM—The Easter Bunny will make his annual visit to the admission-free visitors center at the New York Power Authority’s (NYPA) Blenheim-Gilboa Pumped Storage Power Project from noon to 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 16. The bunny will pose for free photos with children; parents may bring their cameras. The event will also feature balloon artist “Mr. Twisty,” who will demonstrate how to make various animals, hats and other configurations out of balloons from noon to 1 p.m. In addition, there will be a raffle for several baskets filled with Easter goodies. The visitors center, featuring interactive exhibits and displays on such topics as basics of electricity, uses of electricity and operation of the Blenheim-Gilboa project, will be open as usual from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The center is located on Route 30, 17 miles south of Middleburgh and five miles north of Grand Gorge.
