Patricia E. Berggren, vice president, foundation
and community relations for Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center,
accepts symbolic check from Horace Horton, the New York Power
Authority’s regional manager for Western New York, reflecting NYPA’s
contribution to the center for 2006. The presentation took place
Jan. 19 at the Power Authority’s Niagara Power Project. NYPA’s
annual contributions to the medical center and other local emergency
service providers are used to buy equipment, establish programs that
enhance patient care, improve facilities and promote health
education.
