(Thursday) Event at Lake Placid Olympic Center to Spotlight Energy
Efficiency Plans for World-Class Ski Facilities

Top officials from the New York Power Authority (NYPA)
and the New York State Olympic Regional Development Authority (ORDA)
will announce plans Thursday, October 12, for the latest
energy-efficiency upgrades for the world-class ski facilities at
Whiteface and Gore Mountains. NYPA Chairman Frank S. McCullough,
Jr., and President and CEO Timothy S. Carey will join ORDA President
and CEO Ted Blazer in Lake Placid to discuss the energy-saving
measures at the 2 o’clock event.
