Bill Hilts Jr., chairman of the Greater Niagara Fish Odyssey/Fall Classic, accepts a symbolic check from Joanne Willmott, the New York Power Authority’s regional manager for community relations, reflecting NYPA’s role as a major sponsor of the 30^th annual fishing competition.  The check to the Newfane Business Association, which coordinates funding and distribution of prize money for the event, was presented last Sunday (Sept. 24) at the annual Wildlife Festival at NYPA’s Niagara Power Project.  Michael McGrath of Niagara Falls, N.Y., won the grand prize in the Odyssey, in which almost 600 anglers took to the waters of Lakes Erie and Ontario, the Niagara River and area tributaries.
