Screen NYPA History Video on September 26 and October 3 at 7 PM

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
ALBANY—Special showings of a video depicting the
history of the New York Power Authority (NYPA) will be available on
Time Warner’s public access channel 18 in the Capital District
viewing area including Saratoga County at 7 pm on Tuesdays,
September 26 and October 3. The only blackout locations are the
City of Schenectady and parts of Bethlehem and Delmar.
The video, produced to mark the Power Authority’s
75th anniversary this year and titled “Bold Dream…Shining Legacy,”
includes extensive coverage of events leading to the Power
Authority’s founding in 1931 and to construction of its first
electric generating facility, on the St. Lawrence River. It then
traces NYPA’s growth into the nation’s largest state-owned electric
utility.
