DEERFIELD—Animals, food and fun will share the spotlight on Saturday (Sept. 23) at the 5th annual New York Power Authority (NYPA) Wildlife Festival at Deerfield Wilderness Park on Walker Road.  The event is set for 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., with free admission and parking.

Featured animal attractions include Birds of Prey, MaxMan Reptiles Rescue, the Warlord Samoyed Dog Sled Team, Fort Rickey Discovery Zoo and numerous exhibits on hunting and fishing.

“It will be a full-filled day for the entire family,” said Carol Rodino, NYPA community relations manager.  “Whether it’s the animal attractions, a hayride around the scenic grounds or watching in amazement the chain saw skills of Mark Tyoe, there will be something for everyone.  There will also be plenty of food and entertainment.”
