Two Big Checks for Controlling Invasive Aquatic Plant—Sen. James L. Seward, far left, and the New York Power Authority (NYPA) presented ceremonial checks Sept. 5 at the SUNY Oneonta Biological Field Station (BFS) in Cooperstown for mitigating the growth of water chestnuts, a nonnative species impacting an Otsego County wetlands area.
