Listing: New York Power Authority 75th Anniversary and Video

The New York Power Authority’s Blenheim-Gilboa
Visitors Center Theater will host several showings of “Bold
Dream...Shinning Legacy” – A History of the New York Power
Authority—on Saturday, May 20 and Sunday, May 21. Admission to all
showings is FREE.
The video tells the story of the Power Authority’s
growth over the past 75 years into the largest state-owned electric
utility in the United States.
Before and after the showings, visitors can stroll
through the wide array of hands-on exhibits at the visitors center,
which presents information on the Power Authority’s statewide
operations as well as displays on the environment and energy
conservation.
Visitors can also enjoy the panoramic views of the
Blenheim-Gilboa Pumped Storage Power Project and Schoharie Creek
from the visitors center.
